Krishna Prasad Yadav has officially taken the oath of office and secrecy as the new Chief Minister of Madhesh Province. Yadav, the parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress, assumed the post with the support of a seven-party coalition.
Madhesh Province Chief Surendra Labh Karna administered the oath during a formal ceremony. Notably, Chief Minister Yadav took the oath in the Bhojpuri language, reflecting the linguistic identity of the region.
The ceremony was attended by several prominent leaders, including former Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, former Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut, Saroj Kumar Yadav, and Jitendra Sonal.
