The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that dense fog is currently affecting many parts of the Terai as of Friday morning and has advised residents of the region to remain cautious.
According to the Division, the weather in Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province is partly cloudy at present, with light cloud cover in the sky.
Issuing a “warning and advisory” at 8:00 am today, the Meteorological Forecasting Division stated that fog in the Terai region is likely to have a partial impact on daily life, health, and road and air transportation during the morning hours. The Division has requested the public to stay informed by following the daily updated weather bulletins it releases.
Meteorologists have said that the current weather conditions across the country are due to the partial influence of westerly winds.
