The Special General Convention organized by supporters of the Nepali Congress has fixed nomination registration fees for the upcoming elections. The Congress Special General Convention Election Committee set the fees in accordance with the party statute.
According to Election Committee Coordinator and senior advocate Sitaram KC, the nomination fee has been fixed at Rs 30,000 for the party president, Rs 25,000 for vice president and general secretary, Rs 20,000 for joint general secretary, and Rs 10,000 for central committee member.
During the Nepali Congress’s 14th General Convention, there were 4,743 voters. Excluding those who have passed away or joined other parties, there are currently 4,635 accredited general convention representatives.
