A decision has been made to release medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai on bail. An official from the Cyber Bureau said that the process to release Prasai has been initiated.
Prasai was arrested by Nepal Police last Friday from Chabahil on charges of engaging in activities against the election process. He is also the coordinator of the “Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizen Protection Grand Campaign.”
Earlier, Prasai had been arrested from Pokhara on Magh 5 on charges related to disturbing public peace. He was released on bail the following day, on Magh 6.
