The Nepal Communist Party is set to organize a Unity Message Assembly today in Biratnagar, Koshi Province.
Following the party’s decision to hold unity assemblies across the country after its formation, the event in Biratnagar comes as part of a nationwide series. Earlier, the party held similar assemblies in Dhangadhi on Friday, Deukhuri of Dang on Saturday, and Pokhara of Gandaki Province on Sunday.
Today’s assembly in Biratnagar will be addressed by Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, and other senior leaders. After the formation of the Nepal Communist Party through the unification of over 12 factions including the Maoist Centre, the party has begun expanding its organizational activities.
According to the schedule, the party will organize upcoming unity assemblies in the following locations:
- Kathmandu (Valley Special Province): Mangsir 17
- Surkhet (Karnali Province): Mangsir 18
- Janakpur (Madhesh Province): Mangsir 20
- Joint Virtual Program of Overseas Provinces: Mangsir 21
- Federal Contact Coordination Province, Kathmandu: Mangsir 22
- Hetauda (Bagmati Province): Mangsir 23
The party has stated that these events aim to strengthen unity and mobilize organizational structures across the nation.
