The Nepal Securities Board has granted approval to Apollo Hydropower Company Limited to sell its shares through an IPO.
The company has been allowed to issue 14,10,000 ordinary shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share, totaling NPR 14.10 crore.
Himalayan Capital Limited will manage the share sale. Apollo Hydropower is currently constructing a hydropower project in Okhaldhunga.
So far in the current fiscal year, the board has approved IPOs for 15 companies, including nine hydropower companies, four production companies, and one each from hotel & tourism and development banking sectors.
The total value of shares approved for sale in the current fiscal year amounts to NPR 6.17 billion.
