Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa arrived in Pokhara on Friday. He was welcomed at Pokhara Airport by Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey along with other party leaders and workers.
From the airport, Thapa is scheduled to go directly to the Nepali Congress Kaski office, where he will meet and address senior party leaders and workers.
After the Kaski program, Thapa will address a meeting of the Nepali Congress Gandaki Province Working Committee, which is set to take place in Pokhara with his presence. The meeting will include provincial committee officials, district presidents from within the province, and invited members.
The provincial working committee has also requested the presence of candidates contesting the House of Representatives election on behalf of the party.
